Comments:
Skips on B side during Danny Boy. Side A plays perfect

Notes:

This single was a free gift with the New Spotlight annual Yearbook '73 (issued in December 1972).

Side A is spoken word: each artist wishes the readers of New Spotlight magazine a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year for 1973. The full running time of side A is 4:55; without the silence in between each track it is 4:09.

'Danny Boy' has a spoken intro of 2:10, and is believed to be taken from the album '27915'. This may be the only time it was issued on a 7” single anywhere.

New Spotlight changed it’s name twice, started as just Spotlight in the 60’s, then re-launched itself as New Spotlight and then changed it’s name for the last time in the 70’s sometime to Starlight.

The catalogue number is probably SPI (for Spotlight Publication Ireland), but it may be SPl (SP with a small L, for Spotlight Publication limited).
